Maybe they missed it but heard all about it from their friends?
Well do they like getting soaked, eating fun food, and having a great times with friends? We thought so!
They won’t want to miss “Shipwrecked” this Summer on Wednesday nights, July 11 – August 29th!
Each night will have fun beach themed snacks like “octadogs”, “sand pail” pudding, “ocean fun” cupcakes, “fish bait” mix and more.
We will also have great beach themed games and activities every week, like beach relays, sand castle competitions, miniature sail boat racing and more!
But that’s not all!
Each week they will have lessons from the life and journeys of the Apostle Paul:
Plus rocking worship as usual! All this and more… FREE! Kids are encouraged to come dressed in beach attire and bring a towel each week!

| Yes it’s true, Jesus came to rescue us. In the first week of this series, we discovered we are healed by the stripes of Jesus.Something so awesome happened. In that service God healed a woman’s ear miraculously.This week we learned how to reign in this life. Jesus rescued us from a powerless life. We really are called to live above and not beneath circumstances.
Jesus really rescued us. Let’s partner with Him and be modern day rescuers. Bring someone to church this Easter season and make an eternal difference in someone’s life. I love you! Watch last Sunday’s Message:

By His stripes we are healed! We kicked off the rescue series on Sunday and settled it once and for all…..Jesus rescued us from sickness. Jesus made it very clear as He demonstrated this in His ministry. The disciples carried out the same mandate. And Mark 16 tells us we can now lay hands on the sick and they will recover!
Friends, let’s believe what the Bible says, and know that Jesus is willing to heal us not based on our merit but based on His finished work. You are loved by Jesus. Brutal stripes were placed on His back for you. Every stripe is our title deed. Step into it. Own it. Receive it. By His stripes we are healed.
Be a rescuer and bring someone to church during this series.
We live in a unique time in history. With today’s culture pushing a secular agenda towards our young people, we have a job to do as a church. We need to equip this generation with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ like never before. That message has never changed, but sometimes our methods must to reach this generation. That is what we saw on Sunday, watch this- Glimpse
We heard startling statistic after statistic about the declining church in America and we must do something about it. We could sit around and talk about the problem or do what the Bible says-redeem the time! We can rescue this moment in history with the power of God. After 25 years of waiting on the promise of a child, Abraham rescued his moment, within 3 months, a child was conceived. It doesn’t take long when you invite God on the scene. Let’s do what Abraham did and invite God on the scene in all the ministries of our church. Let’s equip our children’s and youth ministry like never before. Let’s get behind them. Let’s encourage them to stand up to the negativity with the unwavering love of God. Let’s give them the tools they need. Let’s give them the room they need! Help me to set them on fire with the power of God and cut them loose to this generation.
I believe that God is a rewarder and when I grow up I want to be just like Him. That’s why we have started a new rewards program for elementary students, “My Bible Bucks Store”. They can earn points to spend on various rewards.
All the “bucks” or points are recorded on a computer database so they can never be lost or stolen. (Yes we know that its ridiculous to think that things could be stolen from church, but it happens.) We will eventually issue cards that they need to show to spend their “bucks”. They will earn points on Sundays, Wednesdays and any special services.

Kid’s Life is now in the process of becoming “myLIFE”.Why “myLIFE” ?
First of all “myLIFE” is the customized kid’s version of Life Christian Church. We believe that our lives are a precious sacrifice to God. We have designed programs that are just for kids to live an active faith right now.
This new name will create excitement with kids saying things like “myLIFE is awesome!” “God has a plan for myLIFE.” “myLife has meaning and purpose.” and “myLife is precious to God!”
What is “myLIFE” about?
We’ve all heard it said the kids are the church of the future. That sounds nice and all but we’re here right now and we are the church of today.
We won’t wait to change our world until we are old and grey. We can do it today.
What are the age groups called?
It starts off with mylittleLIFE for our youngest members birth – 36 months.
myLIFEjunior is for preschool aged children, 3-5 years.
Then next comes elementary, grades k-5, which shares the myLIFE name with the overall ministry organization.
How does a myLIFE kid live? (our creed)
I know God, He’s an important part of myLIFE.
The power of the Holy Spirit is at work within myLIFE.
myLIFE is defined by who I am in Christ.
The love of God is shown by myLIFE.
When will all this happen?
Look for the new logo on all new print materials coming out. Posters and signs in the hallways will upgrade within the next few weeks as they arrive.
