New Years Day Prophecy Part 1

“The Spirit of God would say to you, House of New Baltimore, 2011 was the year of hunger, 2011 was the year of pain. But your hunger and your pain shall manifest in tremendous miracle blessing in 2012 says the Spirit of God.

Seeds have been planted in that community, seeds that Life Christian has not planted, oh this is the season saith the Lord, this is the season where you shall reap where you have not sown. You shall reap blessing, you shall reap souls, you shall reap healing, you shall reap restoration. Your hunger has turned to manifestation in 2012 says the Spirit of God.

This is what the Spirit of God would say to the House of Troy. 2011 was the year of great distraction, business distraction, family distraction, health distraction; distraction, distraction, distraction. But I, says the Spirit of God, am going to turn your distraction into focus in 2012. And that focus will manifest in miracles, it will manifest in healing, it will manifest in your going to a dimension in My Spirit that you have only seen in your dreams, it will manifest in a dimension of prosperity, it will manifest in a dimension of numerical growth, it will manifest in a dimension of physical growth in your human man. You will do things you have only seen in your dreams, says the Spirit of God. For I have raised up this congregation in the middle of this city to be My Light. I have raised up this church in the middle of this city to declare My authority, to declare My goodness, to declare that I am still on the throne, and I am healing my church, I am prospering my church, I am alive for my church, says the Spirit of God.”

Free from Baggage

In the spring when the Holy Spirit spoke through Pastor Dino about our baggage-letting go of our baggage.

I was weeping after service, and my sister found me. Are you alright, I said yes, I weep for joy! Father had just lifted another veil if you will. God took the fear and guilt and condemnation I had carried for 50 years or so. Praise God. He is freeing me and healing me of my past.

I thank God for his love, mercy and peace. And for Life Christian Church and our pastors and all the people behind the scenes.

“The Light” With Us!

With Us:

Jesus’ birth brought “the light” to the earth. His birth brought a new era which would free us from the old sacrificial system. That old system with its rituals, traditions and laws, were a yoke around humanity.  Jesus came to destroy that yoke, and walk with us as He shows us His grace and mercy.

Emmanuel= God with us; has given us an invitation to take His yoke and learn from Him and He will give us rest (Matt. 11:28).  God is not distant, He is here!  As we go into this Christmas season, let’s extend that invitation to others.  Let’s be mindful we are in the company of God, He is right beside us and “with Him all things are possible” (Matt. 19:26).

HERO

I’m excited about our powerful series, “Hero.” A true hero is someone who is willing to make a personal sacrifice for somebody else, and there are plenty of biblical examples.

Gideon's Battle

Gideon became a hero, but he was a most unlikely candidate. He was afraid, and the truth is, Gideon had reason to be afraid. Things went from bad to worse, but Gideon’s feelings about himself didn’t stop God from making him a mighty Man of Valor.

Sometimes life goes from bad to worse. But…if you’re average and ordinary and you lack resources or you feel like a failure, then YOU are a candidate for  becoming a hero!

We love heroes because deep down inside, we long to be a hero. We long to do something significant in this life. God put that longing inside of us. We have His DNA.  We’re wired for success, for something greater than ourselves.  There’s a hero inside of you. So it’s time to awaken the hero. You are wired for greatness!

Wednesday Night Healing

After my kids and I had dinner together before church, I looked down and noticed these spots on my hand.  They were bumpy and there were several of them and they looked so gross.  I thought I had touched something I was allergic to or something.

My sons laid hands on me in the car, but they were still there.  They were only on the right hand.  I walked into service at the end of praise and worship and just entered into the presence of God.

Pastor Tracy had a word of knowledge about someone who had spots, she saw several brown spots.  I knew that was me and God had healed me.  I looked at my hand and the spots were all gone!

Jesus is very much alive and still healing today. The prophet Isaiah wrote “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.Isaiah 53:5

the Jesus change

I have been at this office for 5 years and did not care who I hurt, didn’t talk to people at work, they knew nothing about me as I did not want to be the gossip around the office, would tell someone off before thinking. However still worked hard and did my job so they kept me.  My kids and I were having problems, I was having a year long pitty party and it was all about me and nothing was going right. I was giving my problems to God and wanting him to fix things but then I would take the problem back and put the problem and me in a bubble and no one could get into my bubble, you wouldn’t have been able to get through with a chisel and then I wondered why God was not answering any of my prayers and why he wasn’t there for me.

One day he gave me a picture of him with his arms out for me to come in and me with my back to him. For the last year people at work have noticed that I have changed, I never raise my voice I treat everyone with kindness and I just don’t let the day to day stuff get to me.  Now, when I do get a little stressed out, I think what did I do differently and usually it’s because I did not ask for His guidance.

I have had people ask me what is changed in my life and I tell them about my church and my Jesus. I have had people that did not know me tell me how great it was to work with me. Praise God He has changed my life!

The stripes that got it done on the ice…

His hockey team was playing in a big district game.  Midway through the second period Trevor was injured and could not get up off the ice.  An orthopedic surgeon was in the stands and attended to Trevor’s injury on the ice.  After examining Trevor’s leg, the doctor said he believed it was broken where it meets the knee.  In the meantime, the rink had called an ambulance, and the doctor held Trevor’s leg immobile while he was being carried off the ice.  I asked the doctor where the nearest ER was (we were in Macomb) and he said St. John’s on 23 & Romeo Plank, but he also added that they do not do emergency surgery there, and that if Trevor needed surgery he would have to be transferred.  We declined the ambulance ride, but did have the attendants help us carry Trevor to the car and get him in.  I sat by Trevor and prayed over him in tongues all the way to the hospital.  At the hospital we ran into a woman from church with her daughter Ashley.  The ER doctor examined Trevor’s and immediately gave him pain medication.  They took x-rays.  The doctor showed us the x-rays on the computer monitor and confirmed that Trevor’s leg was indeed broken.  (Ashley’s mother was right there and saw and heard it all).  They gave us a prescription for pain medication, put Trevor in a brace from his ankle to his upper thigh, game him a set of crutches and instructed him to put no weight at all on his leg.  I still have the Discharge Instructions which read:  “FRACTURE LOWER EXTREMITY – A fracture is the medical term for a BROKEN BONE.  It will take at least four weeks for the fracture to heal.  FRACTURE KNEE – You have a FRACTURE (break) of a bone in the knee joint.  Depending on the severity of the fracture, this will take four weeks or longer to heal”.

We went home, and I remember telling Trevor that God’s best for him was not a broken leg.  And together we commanded his leg to line up with the Word of God in Jesus’ Name.  Also, Trevor agreed that if he woke during the night in pain, he could call me but he was not to say “OWWWWW My leg hurts” he was to say “OWWWW, by Jesus’ stripes I’m healed”.

He did not wake during the night with any pain.  The next day we went to see the partner of the ortho doctor who was at the rink the night before.  He had already spoken to his partner and knew what he was expecting to see.  He examined Trevor’s leg and said, “Well, it’s not currently presenting as a break.  We need to get a MRI.”  The final diagnosis:  A bone bruise and a sprained ACL.  No break, crutches only as needed.  And a 10 day rest from contact sports.  God is good and Trevor is back skating just like new.
